For more than 20 years, Obi-Wan Kenobi has been a staple character in all sorts of Star Wars games like the Battlefront series, movie adaptations, solo features, and a selection of titles revolving around the Qui-Gon-led The Phantom Menace. In addition to being one of the most popular characters in the series, Obi-Wan Kenobi roughly has the same role in every game that he's a playable character in. His lightsaber combat style, known as Soresu or Form III, always reflects that of the character in movies and television, offering players resilience and defensive mastery in the face of overwhelming odds.

Despite the commonalities, not all Star Wars games that have Obi-Wan Kenobi as a playable character use the same moves over and over. For example, LEGO Star Wars games tend to feature simpler combat styles for all of their characters, while games that focus on Obi-Wan himself expand his available Force and lightsaber movesets. Nonetheless, Kenobi remains recognizable in every game where he's playable, even Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
