Final Fantasy 7 is turning 25-years-old and to celebrate, Square Enix is hosting a 25th-anniversary stream next week.
You can tune into this ten-minute stream on June 16th on Twitch and YouTube under the Square Enix accounts.

"At only around ten minutes long, it will be short and sweet," Final Fantasy 7 artist and writer Tetsuya Nomura said. "But we have packed in lots of information, so I hope everyone can look forward to the unveiling."
Speculation is already running rampant about what might be announced in that brief ten minutes, but the big expectation is Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2. The announcement tweet even used the remake hashtag "#FF7R".
"First released in 1997, Final Fantasy 7 is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022," the blog post reads. "The game is universally regarded as a hallmark title of the RPG genre. The original title received high praise for its epic storyline, unique characters, and movie sequences that utilised the most cutting-edge technology of the time. Since then, the game has sold over 13.9 million copies worldwide. The popular game has even expanded into spin-offs, films, and merchandise."
You can play Final Fantasy 7 and its remake on PS4, PS5, and PC right now, but the spin-offs Square Enix mentions are still in limbo. Licensing might be keeping Crisis Core at bay given that it features a song from J-pop singer Ayaka Iida. If you want to try that out, you'll need a PSP.
