Enchanted cards are always a big draw for players and collectors, and the upcoming expansion is adding a fresh new batch to the game. Enchanted is the highest designation of rarity in the game, referring to cards with alternate art and a special «Inkwash» foil treatment. Although they have the same value in gameplay as their standard variants, Enchanted cards definitely pop in a collection.

The Enchanted variant shows Chernabog with an expression of stony derision, and rough brush strokes give the card an impressionistic feel.
Kida: Protector of Atlantis is a Legendary card even when it's not Enchanted, and playing it at the right time can be a big game-changer. Thiscard imposes a minus-three to every character's strength until the start of the player's next turn, which can result in a big shift in momentum when used with care. Both versions of the card show Kida with an amber glow, but the Enchanted variant takes a more dramatic pose from the scene where Kida's crystal is dragged toward the Heart of Atlantis.
Fans of elusive cards should love Jafar: Striking Illusionist, which is a high-level example of how much they can annoy an opponent. Drawing a card while Jafar is exerted gains lore, which works out perfectly with how safe it is to exert him.
