LEGO Horizon Adventures may not subscribe to the realism of Aloy’s mainline games, but it still looks bloody beautiful. Developed by Guerrilla and Studio Gobo, this is a phenomenal looking co-op outing, which recreates the post-apocalyptic beauty of the tentpole PS5 and PS4 titles using Denmark’s famous bricks. Unlike releases such as LEGO Fortnite, which blends the blocks with other assets, everything here appears to be made of the iconic toys.
Launching late 2024
The story appears to follow the plot of the first game, suggesting this may actually be the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster that was rumoured several years ago. “Aloy, the game’s leading hero, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by a grizzled huntsman called Rost, who teaches her the way of the wilds,” the PS Blog reveals. “One day, Aloy embarks on a quest to discover her true destiny. Guided by a thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist called Elisabet, Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery.”
Gameplay can be enjoyed both solo or in co-op – either locally or online. And there’ll even be a base-building element, where you collect blueprints to build out Mother’s Heart in any way you desire.
Honestly, this just looks absolutely delightful, and while we were sceptical prior to the announcement, we reckon this is going to prove a perfect way to expand on Aloy’s adventures. Are you impressed by what you’ve seen thus far? Take down a dinobot or two in the comments section below.

I can't get over how stunningly beautiful this game looks. Such a great end to the year for PlayStation between this and Astro Bot.
