Fitting its usual cadence, the Epic Games Store has replaced its previous offering Recipe for Disaster with Warpips, and it has announced what will replace Warpips on February 23: Duskers. Warpips will be available on Epic Games Store to claim until 10 am CT on February 23, at which point the titles will roll over.
Warpips is an indie action strategy game that describes itself as ifCommand and Conquer andNexus Wars had a baby. It involves physics-based combat, players assembling an army, and deploying troops, airstrikes, and missiles in combat. It further promises fast streamlined combat, deep strategy, randomized battles, and no pay-to-win elements or microtransactions.

Of course, if Warpips doesn't scratch someone's particular itch, fans may be more interested in the next addition to the Epic Games Store. Duskers sees players command drones as they fly around derelict spaceships, trying to survive some odd catastrophe and understand how everything became a giant graveyard through ship logs. It's been praised for its general Alien vibes, as well as its approach to the Sci-Fi genre. Players must use motion sensors to know something is out there, but not what, with each ship being procedurally generated. Hazards include the potential monstrosities awaiting players on the derelict ships, fuel management, or the parts of the drones going awry.
Duskers may be right up Sci-Fi lovers' alley. On OpenCritic, the game has an 84 Top Critic Average, a 100% recommendation rate from critics, and has been ranked as Mighty.
