Elden Ring will be playable later today on PC. But what if you want to play it away from your desktop? With Valve’s Steam Deck scheduled to start shipping tomorrow, Souls-like fans with deep wallets and a yearning for adventure will no doubt wonder if Elden Ring can be played on the go. Well, wonder no more. Elden Ring, and seemingly all FromSoftware games, are playable on the Steam Deck.
Twitter user Wario64 shared proof earlier today that Elden Ring is playable on the Steam Deck. Elden Ring joins its other FromSoftware brethren on Steam Deck, save for a few. Dark Souls Remastered, Sekiro, and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin are playable on Steam Deck. There are some outliers, such as the original Dark Souls II, which hasn’t been checked for compatibility. Dark Souls Remastered has a yellow icon, which means it runs but “may require some manual tweaking by the user to play.”
