FromSoftware has released patch 1.05 for Elden Ring that fixes dozens of bugs and adds a handful of minor features.
The update, which is available on all platforms (with a handful of PC-only features), doesn't include any show-stopping fixes in particular but rather makes minor changes to a wide range of areas to improve the general experience of playing Elden Ring.
These include fixes for bugs in which some attacks of the Ice Spear skill are unguardable, one that caused Malenia, Goddess of Rot to have low health under certain circumstances, and another that prevented hostile NPCs from appearing under certain circumstances.
There are more than 50 changes overall, with some small additions such as summoning sign sound effects being added too. Perhaps the biggest of these is that, in transactions with Twin Maiden Husk, Bell Bearing items will now maintain their liberated status in New Game Plus.
As previously mentioned, the PC version is also receiving a handful of minor additions. The "Press Any Button" entry point on the title screen can now be activated through more buttons, a Return to Desktop option has been added to the main menu, and a bug has been fixed that caused slowed performance when changing the screen mode and resolution.
