World of Tanks Blitz is letting you cruise through a holiday battlefield where your tank will be blaring deadmau5 beats! Sounds awesome, right? While neon lights cut through the frosty air, you’ll be battling it out with electronic music.
Joel Thomas Zimmerman, known professionally as deadmau5 is a Canadian electronic music producer and DJ. This December, he’s teaming up with World of Tanks Blitz to inject his electrifying vibe into the game.
It all kicks off with deadmau5’s new track, Familiars, which drops alongside a trailer for this epic crossover. The music video is a trip on its own! deadmau5 transforms into his famous mau5head persona and takes control of a decked-out tank. You can see him turning a grey cityscape into a vibrant, neon holiday playground.
Starting December 2nd, the pre-party begins. But the real action, ‘deadmau5 in the House’ will run from December 2nd to December 26th. And November 29th is the day when his Familiars track drops on streaming platforms.
Before I give you further details, check out the World of Tanks Blitz x deadMau5 video here!
First up, the mau5tank is a custom controller tank that’s a straight-up party on tracks. It has speakers, lasers, lights and enough energy to make your enemies vibe out before they respawn.
Then there are the camos. One standout is the Blink camo, inspired by deadmau5’s meme-worthy Nyanborghini Purracan. The man turned his Lamborghini into a cat meme, and now it’s coming to your virtual tank.
During the World of Tanks Blitz x deadMau5 crossover, there are three exclusive masks as well. They’re all shaped like the iconic mau5head in different styles. And there are two deadmau5-themed quests which let you earn more themed goodies.
I guess it’s going to be a perfect ‘gaming’ holiday season with neon lasers and EDM beats. If you want them more than candy canes and eggnog, then grab WoT Blitz from the Google Play Store.
