Electronic Arts has announced a delay for EA Sports PGA Tour, its first golfing title since Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. Previously set to launch on March 24th, it’s now releasing on April 7th, the same week as the Masters Tournament. In a new blog post, the development team revealed that the delay would let it “add a few final touches to the game that we are very excited to deliver to all of you.”
These include updates to “favorite courses” to showcase their 2023 designs. Of course, those who purchase the Deluxe Edition or subscribe to EA Play Pro can still play the game early on April 4th. Developed on Frostbite Engine, EA Sports PGA Tour features 30 courses and playable golfers like Nelly Korda, Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau and many more.
It also features 20 Shot Types, Pure Strike for realistic golf swings that feel fluid and Innovative Ball Behavior which sees golf balls bouncing naturally across different terrain and conditions.EA Sports PGA Tour will release for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
