Dungeons & Dragons turns 50 this year, and more and more crossovers are being announced to mark the occasion. We already know the iconic roleplaying game will get its first Lego set next month, and now we know D&D will be crossing over with Converse too. The collection includes sneakers, t-shirts, and trucker hats, and D&D elements will even be added to Converse By You meaning you can use them to make your very own D&D-themed footwear.
While you might be able to design your own D&D sneakers very soon, it's hard to imagine anything we could make ourselves will look better than the two Chuck 70 options Converse has already created. Both pairs of sneakers include instantly recognizable elements and deep cuts from D&D history. The All Star logo has been replaced with a D20, and the images printed on the shoes have been lifted from classic D&D books including the Dungeon Master's Guide and The Monster Manual.
If the Chuck 70s haven't sold you on the collection there are also two Chuck Taylor All Star designs, and if you're not after shoes at all but you still want some D&D Converse merch, there's an entire range of clothing to go along with the sneakers. The t-shirt designs include the same classic artwork you'll find on the black and green sneakers, and there's also a tee that shows the Converse logo sinking into a gelatinous cube, joining the skeletons of the other poor souls already consumed by it.
Everything in the Dungeons & Dragons Converse collection will be available to buy through Converse's online store and select locations from April 11, 2024, but the prices of its products haven't yet been revealed. If you're planning to attend Gary Con this weekend, you'll get the chance to see the collection in person before anyone else. The convention celebrates D&D's creator Gary Gygax and with it turning 50 this year, this year's Gary Con will be a big one.
As noted above, D&D is also getting a Lego set next month. Available from April 1 for Lego Insiders, and April 4
