Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves isn't scheduled to release in theaters until March 2023. However, with San Diego Comic-Con taking place, we're learning a bit more about it. Additionally, Hasbro has released imagery of an upcoming D&D toy inspired by the movie, and fans will be very excited because it's a Gelatinous Cube.
Hitting stores in the spring of 2023, the infamous D&D monster will cost $35 at retail. The first images of the collectible have come out, and there's a lot more to it than a plastic cube. Check it out.
The cube contains 14 accessories than can snap-in, and it is compatibly with 6-inch figures in the line--or you could even put a Marvel Legend in there if you really wanted to. However, figures are sold separately, so the one in the images above is just so you can see how it looks.
If you want to preorder the Gelatinous Cube, you can do so on Hasbro Pulse later today--it will also be available at most major retailers.
While the D&D movie's full title was recently revealed, it's been in the works for quite some time. The films stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant. Spider-Man: Homecoming writers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are directing and writing, with Michael Gilio also working on the script. While plot details have been under wraps previously, the movie is also being presented at San Diego Comic-Con, so changes are we'll know plenty soon enough.
