Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves finally has its first official trailer, showing off the film's characters as well as some spectacular action scenes and set-pieces.
The trailer was first shown off by entertainment company eOne at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and gave us a first look at the squad of heroes the film will focus on. The trailer explains that the film will follow a gang of adventurers who "helped the wrong person steal the wrong thing," and the team goes out on a quest to fix their mistake. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is currently expected to air on March 3, 2023, exclusively in cinemas.

As for who's starring in the movie, there's a pretty talented lineup of actors involved. The main party the film follows consists of Star Trek actor Chris Pine, alongside Regé-Jean Page, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis. Now the trailer is out, we know that Pine is a Bard, Page is a Paladin, Rodriguez is a Barbarian, Lillis is a Druid, and Justice Smith appears to be a Sorceror.
What with Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves obviously being based on Dungeons & Dragons, there are a bunch of neat references in the trailer for fans to pick apart and really dive into. Just from the trailer, we see plenty of locations including Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Icewind Dale, and the Underdark. It's also chock full of iconic beasties from Dungeons & Dragons, including an owlbear, a mimic, and, of course, plenty of dragons.
