Dune: Awakening to Begin Closed Beta Testing Soon
Funcom has announced that survival MMO Dune: Awakening , is approaching early closed beta testing.
The team acknowledges that, “we’re approaching a stage where the game can benefit a lot from player feedback,” so this is where you come in, of course. They’ll select a small pool of beta testers from those who have signed up via the Dune: Awakening website to start.
Dune: Awakening is an open world survival MMO set on the planet of Arrakis, with harsh environments, dangers, things to discover, and the need to build and use your environment strategically. As with all survival games, there will be conditions to test you, but Arrakis is particularly notable for its desert sands.
If you already submitted your interest in playtesting, keep an eye out for a new signup form to start the process. For those who aren’t invited in the first rounds, there will be more to come. As the testing continues, they will slowly increase the number of players they invite. If you are still interested in testing the open-world survival MMO, it's still worth signing up on the website for consideration
All testing will be under NDA. Since this is very early, that’s no surprise. Since this is a beta test you'll be able to help the developers to continue enhancing and polishing up the game.
