As announced by Capcom earlier in the month, we’re under a day away from a dedicated showcase for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is scheduled for November 28 at 1 PM Pacific Time. It’s widely expected that, alongside new gameplay footage and details, Capcom will also reveal the game’s release date, and that’s now been officially confirmed.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno has confirmed that the open world action RPG sequel’s release date will be formally unveiled at the upcoming showcase. Taking to Twitter, Itsuno wrote about the showcase, “It’s almost here! Tomorrow, we will ‘formally’ announce the release date.”
Itsuno’s confirmation comes on the back off a PEGI listing for Dragon’s Dogma 2 earlier this month, which revealed ahead of time that the game would release on March 22, 2024. It’s likely that this was the game that Capcom has said a couple of times over recent months will sell “millions” of units.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
