Dragon’s Dogma 2 has been properly revealed after many years of waiting. A release date is yet to be confirmed for the long awaited sequel. What we definitely know is that it is coming to PS5. The game was announced to be in development last year, but this is the first glimpse of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be led by the returning game director Hideaki Itsuno, with Dragon’s Dogma veterans Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki also returning to the team.Dragon’s Dogma released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012 before the enhanced Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen arrived a year later and was ported to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch over the following years. There’s long been desire for a sequel among the fanbase, no doubt furthered by the Netflix anime series that debuted in 2020, but the uniqueness of the Pawn System was neutered after servers were shut down in 2018.
