The next expansion for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will reportedly take place during the "End of Z" saga, which acts as an epilogue to Dragon Ball Z and features Goku fighting the reincarnation of Majin Buu at the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai tournament.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot may have launched all the way back in 2020 but that hasn't stopped it from being supported with three years of post-launch DLC. We're currently halfway through the game's second season pass, which includes the previously-released Bardock episode and the upcoming DLC taking place during the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai tournament, but we've still got one more piece of DLC that has yet to be revealed.

Although Bandai Namco hasn't officially announced the focus of the next DLC, a reliable insider has reported that it'll be focused on the End of Z saga (also known as the Peaceful World saga). As the title implies, the End of Z saga takes place ten years after Goku and Vegeta defeat Majin Buu and acts as an epilogue to the main story, showing how all the characters are getting on in the future.
This report comes courtesy of Twitter user DbsHype, who shared two images of Goku and Uub fighting at the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai tournament, saying, "DBZ: KAKAROT DLC 6 about to be amazing!". DbsHype previously leaked the contents of the last two pieces of DLC, so it stands to reason that they're likely correct about what's coming with the third expansion.
