As was announced back in October of last year, a PS5 version of eternally popular action title Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 is in the works — and now, we have a release date. Bandai Namco has confirmed that the port will drop on the 24th May, and from what we gather, it'll be a free upgrade if you already own the game on PS4.
What's more, you'll be able to carry over your existing save data — so you won't be binning god-knows how many hours of grinding after the upgrade. The publisher says that additional information on transferring save data will be provided in time.
Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 is over seven years old at this point, and it still attracts more than 1 million players per month. That's some outstanding longevity, and just goes to show what meaningful post-launch support can do for a good game.
