New screenshots for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has all but confirmed that Hercule will once again have its most infamous special move - the Present Bomb.
As great as it is to see characters like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Broly, Piccolo, and Jiren be part of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's roster, the highlight of the game's recent trailer at The Game Awards was when a much weaker joke character was confirmed to be in the game - Hercule, also known as Mr Satan.
Hercule is a beloved character in his own right, but the main reason why this was so exciting is that it proved that Sparking: Zero isn't just going to be including the series' most powerful fighters and will also be going for some of the jokey ones. We don't yet know how Hercule will work in-game beyond assuming he'll be similar to how he played in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but we do at least know that one of his moves is returning.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was recently the focus of a preview in V-Jump that mostly reiterated what we've been hearing about the game over the past few weeks. The preview did have a selection of new screenshots that, despite featuring characters that we already knew were going to be in the game, did give a bit more detail about their movesets.
The most interesting of the screenshots is one that shows Hercule, who we previously only got to see pointing at the camera as part of one of his moves. The new screenshot shows him cowering in fear with his fingers over his ears while a large explosion goes off in the background, which seems to confirm that he'll have his iconic Present Bomb move from Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi.
For those that don't remember, since Hercule is canonically weaker than everyone in Dragon Ball, he's treated as a joke
