Cooler Master has unveiled its first Mini-LED gaming monitor, the Tempest G2711, which features an innovative cooling design.
Cooler Master has a dedicated monitor portfolio targeted towards gamers. For now, the company has divided its monitors into three segments: the Tempest Mini LED series, the GM series, and the GA series. The company hasn't gained much traction in market popularity, but with its recent entry, things could change since on paper, the new monitor ticks all the check boxes of what a hardcore gamer needs.
Cooler Master is all set to release the Tempest GP2711 gaming monitor soon, and it boasts cutting-edge features, making it a viable option for gamers. Starting with the panel specifics, the GP2711 comes with a 27-inch Mini LED display, with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440. The monitor comes with a VA panel onboard, the first of its type by the company in the Mini LED segment, which is an interesting choice when being paired up with a Mini LED backlighting method. The monitor is targeted towards a gamer, which is why it boasts a 165 Hz refresh rate with a response time rated at < 4ms (GtG).
