Dragon Age: The Veilguard is approaching its long awaited release, and ahead of its launch, BioWare and EA have revealed that the fantasy action RPG’s soundtrack has been composed by two award-winning megatons in the form of Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe. Both composers have also shared their thoughts on working on the game and their approach to the project.
“I’m proud to have shared the journey of creating the musical backdrop for the latest Dragon Age adventure with Lorne and the entire design team,” Zimmer said.
“Crafting this score alongside Hans Zimmer has allowed us to bring an epic new majesty to the realm of Thedas… I cannot wait for people to play this game,” said Balfe.

The isn’t the first time that Zimmer and Balfe have worked together on a video game. The two previously worked together on the likes of 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Crysis 2, among others.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is due out on October 31 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
