Dragon Age: The Veilguard easily stands as one of the biggest and most highly anticipated releases of the year, and with Dragon Age fans’ decade-long wait for a follow-up to Inquisition finally about to come to an end, BioWare and EA have announced that their upcoming fantasy action RPG has hit a major development milestone on the road to launch.
Taking to Twitter, BioWare announced that Dragon Age: The Veilguard has gone gold. That means development on the game has wrapped up, and BioWare has its master ready to be sent out for mass manufacturing and distribution. The studio will presumably continue polishing up the game between now and release, but any work done on the title from this point forward will arrive in the form of day one or post-launch patches.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is due out at the end of this month, on October 31, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will be PS5 Pro Enhanced upon the console’s launch next month.
