Blizzard has brought back one of, if not the most, sought-after mounts to ever make an appearance in, but some fans are less than thrilled about the price tag and availability. While most mounts brought to the in-game shop get fans excited, this one hits home in a few ways that have players frustrated.
The Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur is the latest mount to hit the in-game shop, and while normally mounts that come and go hold value for their appearance, this one brings utility that many OG fans will remember. The Brutosaur comes with both an Auction House auctioneer and a mailbox, making it perfect for gold farmers to use while roaming the world. Though this should be celebrated,there are a few key reasons why the return of an Auction House mount has some fans in an uproar.
Most mounts that come to the in-game shop cost a decent chunk of change, but the Trader's Gilded Brutosaur is one of the most expensive items to ever make its way to the storefront. Costing a whopping $90 USD, fans are both excited and upset that what was once a major feat in can now be purchased with actual cash, and this new version of the mount is better than the original.
World of Warcraft is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with numerous events, but there's also a chance to get an incredibly rare mount again.
The Mighty Caravan Brutosaur came with auctioneers, which for gold farmers was a major advantage. This new version of the «Auction House mount» comes with a mailbox as well, making it a powerhouse for those playing the Auction House or sending gear and other materials to alternate characters. While most would think this would be praised, a plethora of fans are disappointed in Blizzard for taking what was once an achievement and a gold medal for hard work and dedication and putting a price tag on it.
As an avid player who spent countless hours attempting to stack gold to get this mount, this is slightly upsetting. Having the original Brutosaur was like carrying around a rideable gold
