During the Mistcaller fight, players can use the Dodge Ball mechanic to inflict extra damage on the Illusionary Clones during the Guessing Game mechanic!
Mists of Tirna Scithe Dungeon Overview Guide
Every once and a while, Mistcaller will play Dodge Ball with the players. This spawns an arrow pointing directly at each player when she begins casting it. Once the cast goes off, dodgeballs fly down the path of the arrows inflicting damage to players in its path. A unique feature of this mechanic is that it can be used to inflict extra damage on the Illusionary Clones and Illusionary Vulpin!
Once players determine the correct clone, they will want to stack so that the Dodge Ball arrows point into the clone. The orbs will hit the clone dealing extra damage to it. Especially in higher key levels, this is a useful strategy to get out of the Guessing Game phase as quick as possible.
This also works for the Illusionary Vulpin, but is a little harder to pull off due to the small hitbox of the Dodgeballs and because the Vulpin is a moving target.
We have provided a clip below as a reference of pulling this off. In the clip, you can see a Dodgeball hitting the clone at around 53% health and the extra damage dropping the clones health all the way down to 28%! For a Mythic 10, this is a huge chunk of damage and is a great objective to practice moving forward in Mists of Tirna Scithe keys.
