After the multiverse was unleashed in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film saw the return of many characters from previous Marvel films, one being Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. After playing a prominent role in that film, it's very possible that Maguire could return again as the web-slinger in the Doctor Strange sequel, a film that, like its title suggests, will delve deeper into the multiverse as the sorcerer tries to restore it.

Now, those rumors of Maguire's return could be true. Mariana Torres, the actress who provides the Portuguese voice for Wanda, posted a story on her social media with a message that read, “Good things are coming.” But where things get interesting is another actor, Manolo Rey, is also in the story. Rey happens to provide Maguire's Spider-Man voice in Portuguese. This recent story indicates that Maguire could very likely appear in the sequel, and with the two voice actors together in the same room, they could possibly be acting out a scene fromDoctor Strange 2 involving Wanda and Maguire's Spider-Man.
