Disney Dreamlight Valley will be playable from September 6, 2022, via early access on PC and consoles.
While the life simulation adventure game will be free-to-play when it gets its full release in 2023, players will need to purchase a Founder’s Pack (currently unpriced) to participate during the early access period.
Xbox Game Pass members will be able to play the game during early access at no extra charge.
Announced in April, Disney Dreamlight Valley is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
Developed by Gameloft, it challenges players to restore a once-idyllic village ruined by a mysterious event called The Forgetting.

According to an FAQ on the Epic Games Store: “The gameplay experience expands on the traditional elements of a life-sim game with a robust, narrative-driven adventure composed of a solo campaign and a unique friendship system within the village sandbox where each Disney- and Pixar-inspired character has their own dedicated story arc.”
The game’s official website says: “You’ll need to build relationships with a cast of Disney and Pixar heroes and villains to uncover their lost memories and solve the mysteries of the Valley; all while making your mark on the land by customizing your dream village and bringing out your Disney style or Pixar adoration with your avatar.”
