In July 2022, Disney+ is adding a behind-the-scenes look at the latest multiverse adventure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the final episodes of the MCU’s latest TV show, more adventures from Mickey Mouse, and the final movie in a very peculiar trilogy about zombies and cheerleaders. Although cinemas all over the world are open again and operating as normal while studios release all the movies that had to be delayed due to the pandemic, streaming platforms haven’t lost any force, and these continue to house new movies shortly after their theatrical release as well as special content related to these. Such is the case of Disney+, which keeps adding content from its different branches every month – movies, TV shows, and special looks at some of its biggest titles.
June saw the arrival of the final episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Disney+ original movie Hollywood Stargirl, the biographical sports drama Rise, the filmed version of the off-Broadway stage production Trevor: The Musical, the first episodes of the MCU’s TV series Ms. Marvel, a special look at Pixar’s Lightyear, and the season 3 premiere of the TV series Love, Victor. On the licensed content front, July will see the addition of content from National Geographic such as 50 Shades of Sharks and Raging Bull Shark, and more titles from Disney Junior, so all eyes will be on the original content.
