Gameloft has announced Disney Dreamlight Valley’s early 2023 content roadmap.
The game’s next major update will launch in February, introducing Mirabel from Encanto and Olaf from Frozen as new characters.
It will also extend the main story, explore the Frosted Heights biome, and add a new Star Path (Dreamlight Valley’s battle pass equivalent) themed around Disney’s 100th anniversary.
In April, the game will add a new realm from The Lion King and a fresh character in the form of Simba. Scar was introduced in the game’s first major update last October. The April update’s Star Path will be themed around Disney Parks.
“We can already imagine how cool it can be to customize your valley so it can look a little like a park,” Disney Dreamlight Valley lead producer Manea Castet told Polygon. “You can’t fully change your valley into a Disney theme park, but you’ll be able to decorate it with things from the parks.
Another free update will then arrive in the early summer, continuing the main story and revealing who’s living in the pumpkin house.
“It’ll be a huge step forward with the main story, everything coming together as to what’s behind The Forgetting,” Castet said.
Later in 2023, Disney Dreamlight Valley will add more characters, realms, clothes, decoration, furniture, and multiplayer.
