Diablo 4 is currently enjoying a resurface thanks to the release of Season 2, Season of the Blood. Adding more to that, Xbox users now have the opportunity to enjoy Diablo 4 for free for a limited which could be an omen of its arrival on Game Pass thanks to the Activision Blizzard purchase by Microsoft.
Along with titles such as NBA 2K24, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Hokko Life, Diablo 4 arrives on Xbox Free Play Days. All Xbox members will get to enjoy all of these titles from Thursday, October 19 (12:01 am PDT) to Sunday, October 22 (11:59 pm PDT). Contrary to the other games in the bunch, in the case of Diablo 4, you won’t need to have a Game Pass subscription active – which applies to Game Pass Core and Ultimate. This means that absolutely all gamers who have an Xbox will be able to join Sanctuary and enjoy all of its content.
However, while the game is accessible to all Xbox players, what the fine print says and not many players are aware of is that this is a limited trial. While you can indeed play the game from October 19 to 22, 2023, you can only accumulate a total of 10 gameplay hours. This means that you can play 2.5 hours per day, which, to be honest, sounds enough for players to decide whether Diablo 4 is worth buying. This 10-hour trial will allow them to enjoy both the base game and even the Season of the Blood, Diablo 4’s Season 2.
