Destiny 2's Witch Queen campaign contains eight missions with multiple difficulty variants. Those who brave the Legendary difficulty variant will receive double the rewards. If you want to get the most out of this campaign, you'll want to play on Legendary. And for endgame players that want more rewards, you can play the weekly campaign mission on Master difficulty to earn weapon crafting resources and more.

The Communion is a fun albeit frustrating mission to clear on higher difficulties, especially without dying. This guide will cover what builds you should bring into this mission, and we'll break down each encounter to make it as easy as possible.
Legendary doesn't have any additional modifiers when compared to previous Legendary missions. If this is your first Legendary mission, enemies are tougher, deal more damage, and your radar is disabled. Play closer to cover, and don't let melee units get near you.
Master buffs melee enemies with the Empath and Chaff modifiers, and both Barrier and Unstoppable Champions are present in this mission. There are a ton of long-range sightlines in The Communion, so a long-range weapon is advised. Most enemies have Void shields, although all three shield types are present.
Hunters can make great use of Stasis in this mission. Most encounters spawn enemies from predictable spawn locations or clump enemies close together, making Duskfield Grenades a fantastic CC option. Silence and Squall makes add-clearing much easier while solo, and Withering Blade deals good damage even on Master. Use Assassin's Cowl with this spec to give yourself invisibility after a Withering Blade kill or finisher.
