Hunters in Destiny 2 are causing problems in the Crucible again, as players are using the Threadrunner subclass to deny other players from using their Supers accurately and even causing several weapons to experience tracking issues. The latest expansion and its woes haven't spared the nimble Guardians, as shortly after launch, the Silkstrike Super was melting the endgame of Destiny 2 due to a bug before Bungie hastily fixed it.
So far, the Lightfall expansion of Destiny 2 has been a controversial journey for the game, drawing criticisms for its story, lackluster rewards, and underperforming endgame encounters. The introduction of the new darkness-based Strand elemental subclass and all of its accompanying tricks of the trade, however, have been received quite warmly by the community and critics alike. The new subclass has successfully changed how players approach PvE and PvP in Destiny 2, allowing a sense of verticality in movement and combat and providing more options to control the enemy.

As a part of their ability kit, Strand Hunters can create a custom Tether point by using their Grapple ability anywhere in the world, which everyone else can subsequently Grapple onto. Cheese Forever, a famous Destiny 2 YouTuber, has posted a video of them using these custom Tether points to block enemy Super abilities in the Crucible. The YouTuber explains this interaction as a possible consequence of the Tether points acting as physical objects in-game. The video showcases the player using the Tether points to block Warlock's Chaos Reach and Nova Bomb, and Titan's Hammer of Sol, with players assuming that the Titan Thundercrash can also be interrupted in this fashion.
