Death Stranding was a massively hyped and anticipated release. After the rocky and erupting end to Hideo Kojima’s time at Konami, the famed developer went on to craft his own studio. Kojima Productions went on to develop and release Death Stranding, a new game centered around humanity’s struggle as they deal with unusual creatures and destructive creatures roaming the world. It becomes a quest for players to establish a connection across the country to restore order with different colonies. While this was a big hit, fans wondered what the next game Hideo Kojima would bring out.
Fortunately for Death Stranding fans, Hideo Kojima unveiled that they are bringing out a Death Stranding 2 during The Game Awards 2022. Unfortunately, players will have to wait, as we know the studio is still developing the game. In fact, we are finding out that Hideo Kojima shared some behind-the-scenes images of the game being developed. In a particular tweet that recently went out, we get a look at actress Lea Seydoux recording some lines for the upcoming installment.

The series of shots showcase Lea Seydoux in a recording booth with some of the script in front of her. Meanwhile, the other shots are a look at the studio recording setup along with a facial capture helmet. This will allow the developers to capture the actor or actresses’ faces as they perform their different scenes. While fans might be waiting a good while before they can get their hands on the next installment of Death Stranding, it’s nice to see development is still progressing. So it will be a waiting game to see when our next official look into the upcoming title will be.
