One of the first Dead Rising Remaster comparison videos has been released, comparing 2006's Dead Rising to the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
Totally out of the blue, Capcom announced a 'remaster' of 2006's Dead Rising yesterday in the form of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Going by the announcement trailer, however, we're looking more at a remake of the 2006 game as the visual upgrades are quite major, and the game's main protagonist has seemingly underwent some kind of makeover.
Following the announcement trailer, YouTube channel 'ElAnalistaDeBits' released a comparison video, which clearly shows the vastly improved visuals. Then ago, it also shows how Frank West has been waiting for this remaster and aged around 20 to 30 years. Going by the comments under the video, fans of the game clearly aren't happy with the "new" Frank in the remaster. Check out the comparison video below and tell us what you think.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is slating a release on the "new generation" platforms sometime later this year. Likely, we're looking at a PS5 and Xbox Series X\S release, and hopefully, PC as well. We'll update you as soon as we learn more about the game.
