As Baldur’s Gate 3 proved beyond doubt, there’s a massive audience for games of its ilk on the Steam Deck, and as the net big fantasy, choice and consequence based RPG on the horizon, many have wondered whether Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to be fully compatible with the Steam Deck as well.
It has now been confirmed that that will indeed be the case. Taking to Twitter, developer BioWare has revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to be Steam Deck Verified, which means it will be fully optimized for the device. Additionally, the action RPG will also be available natively on Steam, which means those who wish to play on Valve’s platform will not be required to log in to the EA App.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is due out this fall for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A specific release date has yet to be announced, but BioWare says those details will arrive later in the summer. Read more on that through here.
