Best Hero Talents & Talent Builds for Leveling
If you haven't done the pre-patch quest, you MUST complete the questline starting with The War Within/The War Within and ending with The Bronzebeard Family.
If you've done this initial questline, you will receive the breadcrumb quest Slept Like a Rock once The War Within (or the Early Access if you purchased the Epic Edition) goes live, sending you back to Legion Dalaran and continuing you on the intro for the expansion. This questline will continue from the Chamber of the Guardian (the inner room where Magni was sleeping at), which makes this an ideal place to park your character to start the expansion.
The Harbinger questline from Patch 10.2.7 is currently required to start The War Within Pre-Patch questline, but this requirement is removed once the expansion launches.
Your priority for your first character in The War Within is to open up Adventure Mode for you and your alts. This opens World Quests to everyone on your account, allowing your alts to level up anywhere they choose, in whichever order. The requirements to do this are to complete all four Zone Campaigns, which can be tracked through the achievements The Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, and Azj-Kahet.
