During a group interview with Production Director Michael Bybee and Game Producer George Velev, they revealed that Blizzard has different plans for the Glory of The War Within Dungeon Hero. While not final, they plan to add it slowly through the expansion in the form of Feats of Strength instead of regular achievements.
Note that their plan isn't final and can change before implementation.
Glory of the Dungeon Hero has been a staple for every expansion since achievements were added in Wrath of the Lich King in 2008, together with Glory of the \ Raider.
Many players noticed the absence of this meta-achievement during the beta cycle and thought it would be added later. But later never came, and now, on the early-access day, we finally have a response to it.
Ever since the addition of Mythic Dungeons at the start of the expansion in Legion, these achievements moved from requiring Heroic difficulty to Mythic. With The War Within Season 1, the availability of Mythic 0 dungeons will rotate based on the season. This means players won't see all eight The War Within Mythic dungeons until Season 2 or later, likely not all dungeons at once either until the end of the expansion.
We are not going to add a meta-achievement for the war with them in that way. The current plan is that we're actually going to do these as Feats of Strength, and part of the thinking there is that because we're doing rotational dungeons and seasons. Now, it makes sense first to make sure people who are playing through those times can, you know, look back and say like, «Yes, I absolutely did that.» that's cool.
But for people who missed it and wanna collect achievements for whatever reason, don't feel like they were left out. So we're going to do these as feats of strength. At
