CCP Games Announce New Title EVE Frontier, Same Universe as EVE Online
CCP has announced its new project in the same universe as the well-revered EVE Online. This title, EVE Frontier, is being developed and published by CCP Games and is shaping to be a Sci-Fi Space Survival game. In this game, players explore a player-driven sandbox after waking up from stasis in the cosmos. To survive, players must explore the Frontier, which is chock full of resources to help advance in the game.
The Frontier is far from closed off. It's a shattered space region with dangerous supermassive black holes and Exotic wormholes scattered throughout. There will be other people to interact with, such as opportunists, speculators, and those desperate for power. Due to the Exotic wormholes bleeding Crude Matter, pilots are attracted to these wormholes as they can lead to significant wealth, prolonged survival, and technology enhancements.

EVE Frontier has been designed to be an open environment. With "a complete unlock of third-party development, the game world will evolve with the community." Using Smart Assemblies (blockchain technology) in-game, players can make their infrastructure offensive or defensively functional by using turrets, trading posts, and storage facilities. The sandbox features aren't the only thing players have to look forward to in EVE Frontiers, as there will also be intense Ship combat, which relies on skill and great tactician movements.
