With preparing to restart production, fans are wondering who will be its villain. Is it Muse? Here’s all you need to know about who Muse is, what his abilities are, and whether he will appear in the upcoming Daredevil series.
According to familiar scooper Daniel RPK’s Paetron, the MCU is using a minor Daredevil and Blindspot villain from Marvel comics, Muse, to take on Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again. This rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. But since some of Daniel RPK’s past scoops have proven to be reliable, the Muse intel could turn out to be accurate.
The disturbed serial killer made his debut in Daredevil #11 by Charles Soule and Ron Garney. His origin is shrouded in mystery to the extent that he never even revealed his real name. As far as his personality is concerned, he has a major God complex and believes that he gives purpose to his victims by mutilating and transforming them into art. He uses their blood to create large murals, turning them into twisted “masterpieces.”
With him possibly coming into the mix, we should expect Daredevil: Born Again to have a darker tone. Since his origin and identity are unknown in the comics, Marvel could provide him with a new MCU-based backstory and identity along with some unique powers.
.
Considering that Muse is a very mysterious character, his powers also remain unexplained in the comics. He has shown signs of super strength, speed, and agility while taking on heroes such as Blindspot and Daredevil. But with his origin being unknown, readers don’t know where he got his abilities from. So, we should expect Marvel to give him some new powers, similar to how Echo has several MCU-exclusive powers.
