Much of the team has moved on to Project Orion, the current-gen sequel, but Cyberpunk 2077 continues to receive support from CD Projekt RED. On Twitter, it confirmed that a new patch is coming “some time” next week to tackle “the most common issues” reported by players, like Finisher animations.
There will be more information after this weekend, but the developer revealed it’s investigating issues like Auto Fixers in Phantom Liberty. Update 2.0 was meant to be the last major content update for Cyberpunk 2077, arriving before the expansion and overhauling perks, Cyberware and more while adding vehicular combat and a revamped police system.
However, the development team would announce Update 2.1, which added the long-anticipated Metro system. It also added hangout events with partners, a portable radio to listen to music on the go and improvements to boss fights like Adam Smasher. Head here for more details.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC, though Update 2.0 and 2.1 are exclusive to current-gen along with Phantom Liberty.
