For example, some players discovered it's now possible to witness the police chases across Night City even though they are heavily scripted... and probably not what you'd expect.
On Reddit, some Cyberpunk 2077 players shared their stories from the updated version of the dystopian mega city. If you expect the law enforcement officers to closely monitor your actions on the streets and to chase V down after you commit a crime, well, that's not what we have here. Instead, the players encountered some scripted scenes with the police car chasing other criminals occurring in Night City. That's progress too, huh?

As seen in the shared clips, the police officers go chasing other gang cars in the city, shooting at them, and can even run down the road or leave the car if necessary. The only downside is that some players report that they have already seen the same chase ending at the exact same spot, an observation shared by several people on the Web. This means that Cyberpunk 2077's world remains mostly static, only creating the illusion of some events happening, even after the next-gen update. Still, fans say it's better this way than having no chases at all.
