The release of Destiny 2’s new campaign The Witch Queen was accompanied by nerfs to the Nightstalker that leave the subclass almost unplayable. The Witch Queen is the first new campaign to be added to Destiny 2 since 2020, featuring an enemy that longtime fans of the franchise have been waiting to get in their scopes for years, Savathûn, the Witch Queen. The Witch Queen campaign was released following some delays earlier this week along with an update that contained some other changes including a general boost to Destiny 2's power floor. This bump made sure that players who had taken a hiatus from the game were ready to start right in with the new campaign, no grinding necessary.
The Nightstalker is a subclass of Destiny 2's Hunter class based around Void usage that can be obtained after completing the quest The Nightstalker’s Trail. The Nightstalker is a very mobile, stealthy subclass perfect for filling a classic assassin, ninja, or other roguish archetypes. The abilities and gear it gives Guardians include invisibility, double and triple jumps as well as the ability to change direction mid-air, smoke bombs, and other features to support that style of play. They also have some special dodge abilities that refresh their offensive capabilities, the Marksman's Dodge and Gambler's Dodge respectively reload your clip or refresh your melee attack's cooldown.
