This week in modding, Elden Ring hasn’t been out for long at all, but that hasn’t stopped fans from somehow making it look even better. Ray tracing has been added before the developers had the chance to do it officially, and it looks great.
On the flip side, we also have modders going back to Ocarina of Time, just to replace every texture with Toad. Oh, and as usual, we have a bunch of Skyrim mods, because you can never fix that game enough.

We’ve already reported on a bunch of Elden Ring mods, but this one is worth highlighting for the fact that it introduces a feature that will be added to the game officially soon - before the devs got there. Ray tracing will be added to Elden Ring at some point, but before then, we have this fan-made reshade mod that pretty much accomplishes the same thing. As you’d expect, shadows and reflections look much more realistic with the mod, making the Lands Between look even more gorgeous.
Yeah, yeah, get your jokes out. “More like L-Den Ring!” Amazing. Anyway, let’s make Elden Ring way easier. If you’ve had enough of being stuck on the same boss for what seems like a lifetime, you can do your stress levels a favour and download this fan-made easy mode. This is accomplished by halving the amount of damage enemies can do, and increasing your own by 25 percent. You also find way more runes than usual, making the latest FromSoft game a much less stressful experience.
