Patch 2.1, Cyberpunk 2077’s final major update, drops today alongside the game’s Ultimate Edition.
The update adds an expansive metro system to the game with 19 stations across 5 lines. Fast travel is still an option, of course, but for those looking to just kick back and enjoy the sights of Night City en route to their destination, the metro is a fine option.
Hangouts for romantic interests have also been added in patch 2.1. This feature allows players to invite their partners to their apartments with new repeatable events.
The Adam Smasher encounter got a bit of love, too. The fight should now offer players more of a challenge across a wider array of builds and play styles.
RadioPort is a new feature in the update that allows players to listen to the radio while walking around Night City, though it will shut itself off if an important story cutscene needs to cut in.
New vehicles have been added in 2.1, too. The game's bikes have also seen some nifty upgrades, as players can now pull off tricks like endos and wheelies.
A whole slew of balance changes have been made, as well. Everything from Cyberware, to weapons, to perks have been tweaked for better balance. A couple of new pieces of Cyberware have also been added with the update.
Last of the major highlights are a myriad of accessibility improvements, allowing players to change the color palette of the entire game, remove ghosting effects, and even adjust the size of the UI to make it clearer to see.
