Peacock has finally shared the full trailer for the upcoming miniseries, based on Jim Swire and Peter Biddulph’s book. Starring Oscar winner Colin Firth, the drama is currently slated to debut on Peacock in the US on January 2, 2025.

The video features Firth as a father desperate to learn the truth about her daughter’s death, which involves him uncovering the mystery behind the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing. The true-life tragedy happened on December 21, 1988, when 259 passengers and crew were killed after the plane exploded.
Lockerbie: A Search for Truth hails from writers David Harrower and Maryam Hamidi, along with directors Otto Bathurst and Jim Loach. The cast also includes Catherine McCormack, Rosanna Adams, Jemma Carlton, Harry Redding, Sam Troughton, Mark Bonner, Ardalan Esmaili, and Selwa Jghalef. It is executive produced by Harrower, Gareth Neame, Nigel Marchant, Sam Hoyle, Liz Trubridge, Jim Sheridan, Kirsten Sheridan, and Oskar Slingerland, with Hamidi and Kaczynski serving as producers.
