Fans of *NSYNC were delighted when they heard that Chris Kirkpatrick will be a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother 3. Fifty-year-old Chris will compete against 10 other celebrities for the $250,000 prize that some people think may be even higher this season after Big Brother 23 raised the amount of prize money from $500,000 to $750,000. Chris is a fan of the show, and in an interview with Us Weekly, revealed that his favorite players are Derrick Levasseur, Derek Xiao, Xavier Prather, Jackson Michie, and Ian Terry.

That group would become *NSYNC. Although most people associate Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez with *NSYNC, it was actually Chris who became the founding member of the group. It took him about a year to find Justin and JC and accept them into the group. Joey Fatone, who was also working at Universal Studios, later joined them, and after a difficult search for a bass singer, Justin's vocal coach helped them find Lance Bass. In September 1995, *NSYNC was officially a pop group.
