Capcom’s legendary 1999 survival horror, designed and directed by the iconic Shinji Mikami, will launch on PS5 and PS4 as part of PS Plus Premium in the future. While there’s no date attached to the PS1 game, it’ll likely be part of the next update, on 22nd October. We’ll try and get confirmation of that date in the coming days, however.
To be clear, this will be an emulated version of the original 32-bit game, with save states and upscaling. It’s not a remake or remaster.
All PS5, PS4 games lists for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium
The game will be joined by Silicon Nights’ PS1 great, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, which precedes Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, which is also getting a PS5 and PS4 remaster.

Best two announcements of the show imo. Hopefully they both come with trophies.
@Ken_Kaniff I'd love to see trophies attached, but if they treat it like RE1's new port we might be in for a letdown on that.
I wonder if both games will be free for people who own the PS1 Classic on PS3/PSP. I mean, i got Grandia 1, Wild Arms 1 & 2, Legend of Dragoon, and Syphon Filter 1 for free since i owned the PS1 Classic. And i got Killzone Liberation for free too since i bought the digital on PSP.
But if it's not free, i guess i'll buy them again.
I loved this. Actual decent, Third party, PS1 exclusives. If they could increase this incredibly slow roll-out of PS1 & PS2 emulated titles, I would be very happy. Parasite Eve 1&2 next please? Maybe the Xenosaga trilogy? @PuppetMaster we shall find out, but I hope so. I own both of these on the old PS3.
Finally Dino crisis, here’s hoping for trophies and Capcom allowing it to be sold individually.
