Cammy the Killer Bee stings in Street Fighter 6 slapfest with Manon

Capcom offered up another electrifying Street Fighter 6 Developer Match video, which this time gives us our first in-depth look at Delta Red agent and World Warrior veteran Cammy White, as she tangles with the lithe and multi-talented limbs of newcomer Manon on the mean streets of laaahhhnnndahhn.

Cammy, who has been an extremely dangerous and notable Street Fighter character for many entries, looks to be living the “if it ain’t broke” adage, and can be seen throwing out all manner of instantly recognisable normals and special. Ms. White’s high-speed pokes are in effect, as are her tricky, ground creeping lows. Legendary specials such as Cannon Spike and Cannon Spiral are on deck, along with her mind-game playing Hooligan Combination, and her side-switching Spin Knuckle.

Very notably, Cammy’s Street Fighter 6 throw game seems particularly dangerous, given the extreme close distance that her grabs put her to her downed opponent. Loops? Quite possibly. The EX edition of her Cannon Strike dive kick leaves her incredibly deep, and it looks like failure to counter this maneuver — even if you simply block it — could lead to a frightening guessing game.

The Cammy player goes to great length to utilize the SF6 Drive Rush mechanic, likely to demonstrate how much it bolsters the speed and opportinity for smaller characters. Cammy winds out the match by showing off her Lvl.3 Super, which sees the Killer Bee become a literal firework, finishing off Manon with a deathly head kick.

Cammy is most assuredly back, and looks set to be the same nightmare that she has always been.
