Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are calling for the return of a fan-favorite mode from 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Last year's release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 saw some strange omissions from the original game, but Infinity Ward has been updating the sequel with returning maps and modes over the past few months.
Infinity Ward's post-release support for the game has been strong, with the recent release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded bringing a host of new additions including a new map, a new weapon, and a new Raid mission, among other small features. Still, the developer's commitment to maintaining both the base game and its companion, Call of Duty: Warzone 2, has been strong so far, and hopefully, this will continue well into 2023.
