These katanas allow the player to move quickly toward an opponent with a longer-range attack, far surpassing the capabilities of the knife. The player's clip shows that normal melee strikes from the Dual Kodachis have noticeably longer range and faster forward motion. Players on the receiving end of Dual Kodachis are unable to attack with their knives due to its inferior lunging at a longer range.
