Brie Larson shares a piece of Captain Marvel 2 art as a way of honoring her new MCU co-stars. The Academy Award-winning actor made her Marvel movie debut in 2019's Captain Marvel as the titular superhero Carol Danvers, quickly making her one of the universe's most powerful individuals. She then teamed up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Endgame, and her series sequel, officially titled The Marvels, is scheduled to release on February 17, 2023.
Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvelswill see Larson's Avenger team up with two characters introduced through Marvel's Disney+ shows, the first of which released only last year. Teyonah Parris will reprise her WandaVision role as Monica Rambeau, who appeared as a child in Captain Marvel and is the daughter to Carol's now-deceased best friend, Maria. Iman Vellani, meanwhile, will appear as Kamala Khan, a character soon to meet audiences in the Ms. Marvel show coming to the streamer this year.

Now, in honor of March 8 being International Women's Day, Larson takes to Twitter to celebrate her new Captain Marvel 2 co-stars. Sharing a piece of fan art depicting Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau (whose alter-ego has yet to be confirmed) side-by-side, she describes herself as lucky to be working with Parris and Vellani. The art features all three in costume, with Monica's inspired by both her look in the comics and Larson's Captain Marvel suit design. Check out the original post below:
