Tom Hiddleston Is Engaged to Captain Marvel 2 Star Zawe Ashton
Captain Marvel 2 star Zawe Ashton may soon walk down the aisle with fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe star Tom Hiddleston. Hiddleston plays the God of Mischief in the MCU and his namesake Disney+ series, Loki, will be returning for a season 2 with Moon Knight’s directors helming several episodes. Meanwhile, last year, it was announced Ashton would be joining the Captain Marvel sequel as an unknown villain facing off against Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
According to ETCanada, Hiddleston and Ashton will soon be tying the knot after engagement rumors swirled as they were accompanying each other at the British Academy Film Awards. During the event in London, the couple was spotted together on the red carpet, with Ashton seen displaying a large oval-shaped diamond ring on her finger with tinier halo diamonds circling the eye-catching stone. Now, it seems, the speculation at the BAFTAs is proving to be true.

Hiddleston and Ashton co-starred as husband and wife in a 2019 production of the play Betrayal by Harold Pinter. Incidentally, another Marvel actor, Daredevil star Charlie Cox, also starred in a production of the same play in London’s West End. Although the pair have remained relatively private about their relationship, Hiddleston and Ashton had previously been spotted together at the red carpet event for the Tony Awards in 2021. Now with a wedding to plan, the couple has a busy year ahead of them in their respective MCU roles with Loki season 2 in development and Ashton set to star in Captain Marvel 2 next year.
